A. Installation
Install the controller inside/outside the steam room, and, preferably, beside the
door, where you can have easy access. Run the sensor wire in the wall, and then
protrude the probe head into the room. The best location for sensor is 5” above
the door level and the sensor tip should be exposed 1.5” into the room, also
further away from steam head. It is recommended to use the optional sensor
cover to improve the accuracy and to protect the sensor tip.
Note: The controller is provided with a 25 ft. standard-length connector cable and a 20 ft. sensor cable. If
you need to extend them up to 50 ft., use 2-core wires for the sensor, and 4-core wires for the
connector cable (22 to 18 AWG).
B. Operation
1. ON/OFF: Turns on or shut off the steam. When the control is in standby mode, the ON/OFF light stays on.
2. Time control: Controls the duration of steam operation. The unit will work until it times out. To change the
time setting, press and release the TIME button while the control is turned on, use the ▲ (Up) or ▲ (Down)
buttons to set it on desired time, then press and release the SET button to save it, or ON/OFF button to undo
changes.
3. Temperature control: Controls the temperature setpoint in the steam room. To change the temperature
setpoint, just press and release the TEMP button, while the control is turned on, use the ▲ (Up) and ▲ (Down)
buttons to set it to desired value, then press and release the SET button to save it, or ON/OFF button to undo
changes.
4. Temperature display: When the control is turned on, it displays the current temperature in Celsius and
Fahrenheit in the steam room. To see the remaining time, simply push the Time button, the display goes back
to temperature reading if no other button is pushed.
5. Celsius to Fahrenheit: To switch the display reading between Celsius and Fahrenheit, first, turn off the
control through the ON/OFF button. Then press the ▲ (Up) and ▼ (Down) buttons together for about 5
seconds until the “f” light turns on.
6. Lights (LEDs): There are 4 lights around the display, each indicating a status:
• ON/OFF: is on when the control is turned off in
Standby mode.
• TIME: is on when the timer is still counting down.
• TEMP: is on when there is a call for steam.
• °f: is on when the display reading is set for
Fahrenheit.
7. Default Setpoints: The control goes back to the
following default settings when the power is
interrupted.
