line of conduit fittings adds another
level of products to the Thomas & Betts fittings portfolio. Steel City
®
Liquidtight fittings are specifically targeted to the commercial and
residential construction markets. Available in trade sizes 3/8” through
4" in Straight*, 45 and 90 degree both insulated and non-insulated.
*3/8" through 2" Straights — Manufactured from tube steel all other sizes are malleable iron
Applications
Steel City
®
Liquidtight fittings are designed to positively bond conduits
to a box or an indoor or outdoor enclosure. They are designed to protect
conductors from mechanical damage due to vibration and movement,
and seal out cutting oils, coolants, etc. Typical applications include:
motor and control, heating and air conditioning, outdoor lighting
and transformer connection.
Simple Quality Install
Screw in ferrule and split sealing ring makes for a quick install while
still providing a liquidtight seal that meets UL standards.
