PRESSURE WASHER The following safety precautions apply whenever using, storing, or servicing your pressure washer to reduce the possibility of personal injury. Overlooking or ignoring these precautions can lead to personal injury or product damage. * Read this manual carefully. Know your equipment. Consider applications, potential hazards and limitations for your unit. * This equipment is designed for specific applications. Do not modify or use for any application other than which it is designed for.
* Keep thepressure washer clean andfreeofoil,mudandotherforeign matter. * Donotwearloose clothing, jewelry, oranything thatmaybecaught intheengine. * Never directspray atpeople oranimals. * Never allowchildren tooperate pressure washer atanytime. * Usebothhands tocontrol thewand. * Donottouchthenozzle orwaterspray whileoperating. *Wearsafety goggles whileoperating. * Onlyapproved hoses andnozzles should beused. * Donotkinkthehighpressure hose. *Allhose connections mustbeproperly sealed.
* Donottouchhotmuffler. * Service,operateand refuel under the following conditions: a. Goodventilation b. Refuelthe pressurewasher in a well lit area. c. Avoid fuel spills and neverrefuel whilethe pressurewasher is running. d. Avoid any ignition sourcewhen refueling. e. Use lead freefuel with a minimum of 85 octane. * Do not smoke near pressure washer. * Do not operate under 400 fahrenheit.
BEFOREOPERATION NOTE:Theengineand pump on your pressurewasher will often haveimproved performanceafter a break-in period of several hours. PRE-STARTPREPERATION Beforestarting the pressurewasher, checkfor looseor missing parts and for any damagewhich may have occured during shipping. ASSEMBLY& START-UP Hose & Gun Assembly NOTE:Align threadedconnectionscarefullyto preventdamagingthreads during assembly.Tighten connectionssecurelyto prevent leaksduring operation.

Operation OPERATING CONNECTIONS High PressureHose * Attach the high pressure hoseto the pressurewasher by pulling backon the collar of the quick-connect coupling on the hoseand pushingit overthe coupling half on the pressurewasher outlet. NOTE: Do not use pressure hose from another manufacturer. WATERCONNECTION Beforeconnectingthe garden hoseto your pressurewasher, run water through the garden hose(not supplied)to flush out any foreign matter.
OPERATING iNSTRUCTIONS Start-up Procedure 1. Makesure water supply is connectedand turned on. 2. Releasegun safety if locked. 3. To allow air to escapefrom the hose, squeezetrigger on the gun until there is a steadyflow of water coming out from the nozzle. Starting Engine 1. Check oil and gas. 2. Connect hose and turn on water. 3. Squeeze trigger. 4. Make sure the pressure washer is on the ON position (illustration 1). 5. Set the fuel valve to open (illustration 2). 6.
CAUTION! Thispressure washer isintended foruseonlywithliquidcarwash detergents, developed specifically for pressure washers andwithmildsoaps. Onlyusechemicals compatible withthealuminum andbrass parts. Powdered soaps mayclogtheinjection system. Always usechemicals according tothemanufacturers directions. Weassume noresponsiblity foranydamages caused bychemicals injected through this pressure washer. 1.Attach injection tubeassembly tothedetergent connection onthepump. 2.
OPERATION Avoid working onhotsurfaces orindirectsunlight tominimize thechances ofthechemical damaging painted surfaces. Damage mayoccur topainted surfaces ifthechemical isallowed todryonthesurface. Holdthenozzle farenough away fromsurface toprevent damage tothesurface. 2. Allow chemicalto remainon the surfacefor a short time beforerinsing. 3. Rinsewith cleanwater under high pressure.On a vertical surface, first rinse from the bottom up, then rinse from top down.
MAINTENANCE 2. Clearthe nozzlewith a small rigid pieceof wire such as a paperclip. 3. Flushthe nozzlebackwardswith water. 4. Reconnectthe wandto the gun. Restartthe pressurewasherand depressthe trigger on the spray gun. If the nozzleis still plugged or partially plugged,repeataboveinstructions 1-4. If the previous proceduredoesnot clearthe nozzle,replacewith a new nozzle. WATERSCREEN Thepressurewasher is equipedwith a water inlet screento protect the pump.
Anothermethod of reducing risks of freezedamageis to drain your pressurewasheras follows: 1. Stop the pressure washer and detach supply hose and high pressure hose. Squeeze the trigger of the discharge gun to drain all water from the wand and hose. 2. Restart the pressure washer and let it run briefly about 5 seconds) until water no longer discharges from the high pressure outlet. ENGINE STORAGE When the pressure washer is not being used or is being stored for more than a month follow these instructions: 1.
