POTTED TREE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1) Remove tree sections and pot base from the box.
2) Fit the bottom section pole onto pole in base and insert the top section into the pole of bottom section.
Make sure that round PVC ring is over pole in base before inserting pole.
3) Plug in light set to wall socket or approved extension cord or power strip. .Your entire tree should
now be lit. If some bulbs do not light, search for any loose plugs, broken, loose or missing bulbs. (See
trouble shooting section on next pg.) Keep tree plugged in while shaping your tree. Should a light flicker
while doing this, check for the bulb(s) that may have caused the trouble.
4) Begin to shape the branches from the bottom to the top. Separate the tips to create an evenly spaced
profile. After shaping the whole tree, step back and take an overall look. Shift branches to fill any gaps
for a uniform look. Your tree is now ready to enjoy.
STORAGE:
1. Unplug cord from the wall outlet.
2. Unplug each section, keep each stack of lights connected together.
3. Gently lift off the top section and remove the bottom section from the urn base. Carefully place the
tree in its box and tape it shut.
4. DO NOT STORE TREE IN A DAMP AREA OR IN AN AREA WHERE THE TEMPERATURE
EXCEEDS 100.
TROUBLESHOOTING INSTRUCTIONS
If Lights Do Not Work:
1. Check whether the cord is properly plugged into the outlet.
2. Be sure there is power to the outlet.
3. Check whether all plugs within the tree are securely connected.
4. Check whether all bulbs are tightly fixed inside the lamp holders.
5. If a bulb is blown, replace the faulty bulb following the below diagram.
There are spare bulbs included for easy replacement.
6. To extend the life of your lights, ALWAYS replace burned out bulbs when first noticed.
7. If none of the lights are working, check the fuse in light string. If the fuse is blown, replace
the blown fuse following the below diagram. There are spare fuses included for easy
replacement.
8. If none of the lights are working, check the fuse in extension cord. If fuse is blown, replace
the blown fuse following the below diagram. There is a spare fuse included for easy
replacement.
