WOOD ENTRY DOORS
• Limited1-YearWarrantyonalldoor,sidelitesandglass
sealfailures.
Thefollowingarecircumstanceswhicharenotconsidered
theresponsibilityofStevesDoors.comandwillvoid
thewarranty:
1 Installationofanystormdoorwillvoidthewarranty.
2 Installingawooddoorinanydirectsunlightwillvoidthewarranty.
3 DamagecausedbyfailuretocomplywithnishingandmaintenanceinstructionsprovidedbyStevesDoors.com,orbyattemptstoperformanyrepairstothedoor
otherthanbyaninstallerorrepresentativeauthorizedbyStevesDoors.com.
4 Damage,misuseorabusecausedbyotherparties,orbyanycausesbeyondthecontrolofStevesDoors.com.NOTE:Allunitsmustbeinspecteduponreceipttothe
store/customer,asdamageclaimsarevoidaftertheproducthasbeenreceivedandsignedforas“FreeofDamages”.Intheeventthatyourdoor/producthasendured
visibledamage,pleasecontactourcustomerserviceteamwithin24hoursofreceivingtheproductandmakenotationstothefreightcarrierbillofladingorPOD(ifap-
plicable).Thiswillguaranteethataproperclaimcanbemadewiththecarrierimmediatelythereafter.Onsomeoccasionsadigitalpicturemayberequiredtoexpedite
theclaimprocess.
5 Pleasedonotinstallanydamagedproduct.DoingsowillwaiveStevesDoors.comliabilityofsuchproduct.
6 Failuretoproperlynishalldoor/sidelite/transomsurfaces,edgesandorjambmaterialsimmediately.Thisincludesunitsthatwillbestoredinexcessof30daysprior
toinstallation.
7 Warpswhichdonotexceed1/4”intheplaneofa36”x80”doororsmaller.Fordoorslargethan36”x80”,warpsnotexceeding3/8”intheplaneofthedoorare
stillconsideredundertolerance.Warpsondoorsarenormalandoccurasthenormalprocessofacclimation.Intheeventthatyourdoorwarps,allowatleastoneto
twomonthsforittoretracttoitsnormalposition.Thisdistanceshallbedeterminedbyplacingastraightedgeonthesuspectedconcavefaceofthedoorandmeasur-
ingthepointofmaximumdistancebetweenthebottomofthestraightedgeandthefaceofthedoor,accountingforpanelsandglazingrecess.Actiononanyclaimof
warpagemaybedeferredattheoptionofStevesDoors.comforaperiodnottoexceed12months,sinceitisnotuncommonforatemporarywarpconditiontooccur
asthedooradjuststolocalhumidityandtemperatureconditions.
8 Naturalvariationsincolorortextureofanywoodgrainnishshallnotbeconsideredadefect.
9 Likeinallwoodproducts,wooddoorswillnaturallyexpandandcontract.Thereforeourwooddoorpanelshavebeenspecicallydesignedandmanufacturedtooat
withinthedoorwhichwillallownaturalexpansionandcontraction.Duringthenormalshrinkingandexpansionofdoorpanels,theunnishededgesmaybeexposed.
Thiswillrequiretheexposededgestobetouchedupandarenotconsideredadefect.SpecictoKnottyAlderproducts:thesize,location,andquantityofknotscannot
becontrolledinanyspecicdoor,thereforenottobeconsideredadefect.Cracksinandaroundknotsarealsonaturaltoknottyalderwoodandnotconsidereda
defect.
10Decorativeandclearbeveledglasspanelsarehandmadeand
mayvaryfromonepiecetoanotherandcontainvariancessuchasdistortions,minorscratches,waves,bubble-likeareasandvarianceinbevelsizes.Decorativeglass
hasverylittlespacebetweenthepanesofglassandmayrattlewithvibrationofthedooropeningandclosing.
11Irongrillesandmountingbracketsonwooddoorsarehandmadeandmayvaryfromonepiecetoanotherandcontainvariances
suchassize/shapeofironworkwithinthedesignandappearanceofwelds.Exteriorirongrillesarenotwarrantiedagainstrust
ordeterioration.
12Anymodicationstotheproductwillvoidthewarranty,suchastrimmingthedoor,installingmailslots,addingdoorlites,ventoranyotherspecialdetails.
NOTE:StevesDoors.comisnotresponsibleforthenishingorrenishingofanydoor,northeinstallationorre-installationofanydoor.
Themanufacturer’ssoleresponsibilityisasstatedhereinanditshallnotbeliableforconsequential,indirect,orincidentaldamages,orforanyamountinexcessofthe
pricepaidforthedoorsinvolved.
Warrantyonlyappliestooriginalpurchaserandisnon-transferable.
