(L) Protocol Port Selection (Link/Port Protocol Menu)
The following menus allow the user to select common protocols to be used between RS-232 devices
connected to the radio modems.

Main Port: Protocol Type: Point to Point
Aux Port: Protocol Type: Point to Point
(M) Main Port
(A) Aux Port
(Esc) Previous Menu

(M) Main Port
– Select to change the protocol on the Main Port.
(A) Aux Port – Select
to change the protocol on the Auxiliary Port.
After the port has been selected the user then enters the Link/Port Protocol Menu (Figure 6-11). From
this menu the user can assign a new protocol to the port that has been selected and configure it using the
two submenus available.
