Exposure to temperatures outside the recommended temperature range may also reduce battery life and performance. – Use and store the battery only within an ambient temperature range of 14 °F to 122 °F (-10 °C to 50 °C). – Never store the battery in direct sunlight or inside a vehicle in hot weather.

English – Unplug the power supply cord from the outlet when the charger is not in use. – Never jerk the power supply cord to disconnect it from the wall outlet. English 12 LED Diagnostics 11.3 Mounting the Charger on a Wall To charge the battery: When mounting, ensure that no electrical cables, pipes or other service lines run in the wall behind the charger. 3 To mount the wall charger: 1 ► Push the battery (2) into the charger (3) until it stops. The LED on the charger (4) glows green when the battery is charging. The LEDs (1) on the battery glow green and show the state of charge.

English 12 LED Diagnostics If one LED glows red continuously: the battery is either too hot or too cold. Allow the battery to warm up or cool down gradually at an ambient temperature of about 50 °F to 68 °F (10 °C to 20 °C). ► Press the button (1) on the battery. The LEDs on the battery will glow or flash green for about 5 seconds and indicate the state of charge (see illustration). For example: If all 4 LEDs flash red: the battery has a malfunction and must be replaced.

Never operate your blower without a properly mounted blower tube and nozzle, @ 5.6.4. Use only attachments supplied or expressly approved by STIHL, @ 5.5. The nozzle can be mounted to the blower tube in three positions to suit the height and reach of the user.
