Always check the mowing head for signs
of wear before replacing the nylon line.
WARNING
If there are signs of serious wear,
replace the complete mowing head.
Preparations
N Switch off the trimmer.
N Move the retaining latch to ƒ.
N Remove the battery
N Put the power tool on the ground
with the mowing head facing up.
Removing the mowing head and
remaining nylon line
In normal operation, the supply of nylon
line in the head is used up almost
completely.
N Hold the mowing head steady and
rotate the cap (1) counterclockwise
until it can be removed.
N Remove the mowing head.
N Pull the spool (2) out of the mowing
head (3) and remove the remaining
line.
Assembling the mowing head
N Fit the empty spool in the mowing
head (3).
If the spring (4) has popped out:
N Push the spring into the spool (2) as
far as stop.
