English 9 Removing and Fitting the Battery
If the shaft can still be telescoped, the clamping force must
be increased.
► Open the lever (1) of the quick release clamp (2) half way.
► Hold the lever (1) of the quick release clamp (2) firmly and
tighten the screw (4) moderately.
► Close the lever (1) of the quick release clamp (2).
► If the lever (1) of the quick release clamp (2) cannot be
closed properly:
► Open the lever (1) of the quick release clamp (2) half
way.
► Loosen the screw (4) slightly.
► Close the lever (1) of the quick release clamp (2) again.
9.1 Fitting the Battery
► Push the battery (1) into the battery compartment (2) as
far as stop.
The battery (1) engages in position with a click.
9.2 Removing the Battery
► Stand the hedge trimmer on a level surface.
► Hold one hand in front of the battery compartment to
ensure the battery (2) does not fall out.
► Press both locking levers (1).
The battery (2) is unlocked and can be removed.
