The old fuel filter and the liquid used for
cleaning must be disposed of in
accordance with regulations and without
harming the environment!
Clean flame sensor
A display appears on the control panel
when the flame sensor is filled with soot
(see "When the LEDs on the control
panel... ")
N Undo screw (1) and remove flame
sensor
N Carefully clean the flame sensor (2)
with a soft cloth
N Installation: Insert the flame sensor
to the mark; the mark and arrow
must point upward
Clean ventilation openings
The machine must be kept clean so that
cooling air can flow freely through the
openings in the machine.
Lubricate connections
Lubricate the connections on the high-
pressure hose as needed
Check the oil level weekly.
If the pump oil is gray or white change
the oil.
N Place the machine on a flat
horizontal surface
N Open shroud – see "Open shroud"

N Remove dipstick
N Check whether the oil level is
between the "min" and "max" marks
N If necessary, add oil (SAE 15 W 40
– see "Oil change")
RE 551 PLUS, RE 581, RE 581 PLUS
N Check that the oil is level with the
mark (2) when cold.
N If necessary, add oil (SAE 15 W 40
– see "Oil change")
First oil change after 50 hours of
operation, then every six months or
every 500 hours of operation.
N Let the machine warm up
N Open shroud – see "Open shroud"
N Place suitable container under the
oil drain plug (1)
N Unscrew and remove the oil drain
plug (1) and through the opening in
the baseplate of the high-pressure
cleaner
N Drain oil into container
N Check the seal on the oil drain plug,
refit and tighten down the screw
N Waste oil must be disposed of in
accordance with the statutory
regulations.
