Fault:
Poor working results
Possible cause:
– Blades set too deep (bare patches, high
grass content in scarified material)
– Blade set too shallow (little or no lawn
thatch is removed)
– Blades have reached wear limit
– V-belt defective, worn or insufficiently
tensioned
Remedy:
– Reduce working depth (Ö 7.6)
– Increase working depth (Ö 7.6)
– Replace blades (Ö 11.3), (#)
– Replace V-belt (#)
Fault:
Blades not turning freely
Possible cause:
– V-belt defective
– Scarifying unit defective
Remedy:
– Replace V-belt (#)
– Repair scarifying unit (Ö 11.3), (#)
Fault:
Scarifying unit cannot be raised or lowered
Possible cause:
– Cable defective or detached
Remedy:
– Replace or repair cable (#)
Fault:
Working depth cannot be set
Possible cause:
– Scarifying unit in operating position
– Rotary handle or adjustment element
