Lawn mower cuts out
during operation.
1 LED glows
red.
Battery too hot / too
cold.
► Remove the battery, @ 13.2.
► Allow the lawn mower and battery to cool down gradually at
ambient temperatures of about 50 °F to 68 °F (10 °C to
20 °C).
► Increase the cutting height, @ 18.1.
► Reduce drive system speed, @ 16.1.
► Push the mower forward more slowly.
3 LEDs glow
red.
Lawn mower too hot.
Mowing blade is
blocked.
► Increase the cutting height, @ 18.1.
► Clean the lawn mower, @ 22.
► Switch on the lawn mower in lower grass.
Drive system cannot
be activated.
Malfunction in lawn
mower.
► Remove the battery and reinsert it, @ 14
► Try to activate self-propel again, @ 16.1.
► If self-propel still does not work, do not attempt to use.
The lawn mower has a malfunction and must be checked by
a servicing dealer.
Runtime is too short. Battery not fully
charged.
► Charge the battery, @ 9.2.
Useful life of battery
has been reached or
exceeded.
► Have the battery checked by an authorized STIHL servicing
dealer.
Battery is not being
charged even though
LED on charger
glows green.
1 LED glows
red.
Battery too hot / too

► Allow the battery to warm up or cool down gradually at
ambient temperatures of about 50 °F to 68 °F (10 °C to
20 °C).
► Operate the charger only in enclosed, dry rooms at ambient
temperatures of 41 °F to 104 °F (5 °C to 40 °C).
Always remove the fuse key and battery before carrying out any inspection, cleaning or maintenance.
