Safety Precautions and Working Techniques This instruction manual covers a STIHL sprayer which is also referred to as the unit in the descriptions. Special safety precautions must be observed when working with this sprayer. Symbols in text It is important that you read the instruction manual before first use and keep it in a safe place for future reference.
English SG 11 PLUS Wear impermeable gloves resistant to plant protection/cleaning products. The SG 11 PLUS is also suitable for spraying alkaline cleaning products with a pH value between 7-14. Only use cleaning products that are specifically approved for use in sprayers. WARNING To reduce the risk of eye injuries, wear close-fitting safety glasses in accordance with European Standard EN 166. Make sure the safety glasses are a comfortable and snug fit.
English Avoid contact with plant protection products/cleaning agents. – Plant protection products/cleaning agents may be used only by persons trained in their handling and the appropriate first-aid measures. Keep instructions or label of the plant protection/cleaning product available at all times in order to inform the doctor about the chemical concerned in an emergency. In an emergency, follow the instructions on the product label or in the directions for use. Observe manufacturer's safety data sheets.
English – Store the plant protection/cleaning product and sprayer in a place secured against unauthorized use. Take special care in slippery conditions – damp, snow, ice, on slopes or uneven ground. – Store the unit in a dry place protected from frost. Watch out for obstacles: Be careful of refuse, tree stumps, roots and ditches which could cause you to trip or stumble. Disposal Dispose of plant protection/cleaning products in accordance with applicable ordinances.
