RoadKIII

FAST

Rings

(RKFR)

Into

pieces

.

Clean

the

back

panel

area

of

the

door

where

RKFR

piece

will

be

placed

(directly

behind

speaker

opening)

,

then

remove

release

liner

and

place

It

on

the

panel

behind

the

speaker

opening

.

3. Using a

razorblade,

cut

down

RKFR

piece

to

approximately

Remove

release

liner

from

the

back

and

adhere

It

to

the

rear

of

the

s

peaker

,

creating

a

mount

i

ng

gasket

. This

will

ensure

an

airtight

seal

and

decouple

the

speaker

from

the

door

panel,

prevenHng

front

/

rear

wave

cancellaHon

.

4.

Connect

and

mount

the

speaker

to

the

doo

r,

per

normal

installation

proc

e

dures

.

5.

Clean

any

excess

dus

t

from

the

speaker

and

adhere

RKFR

piece

to

the

front

face

of

the

speaker

.

Now

test

the

doo

r

panel

for

fltment.

If

needed

,

trim

front

of

RKFR

piece

13

so

that

It Is

making

firm

contact

with

the

door

panel

but

not

crushing

the

RKFR

. This

focuses

the

speaker

output

Into

the

listening

compartment

,

eliminating

losses

and

vibration

between

the

speaker

and

door

panel,

and

optimizing

sound

output

,

clarity

and

dynamics

.
