The two-sided design of the griddle grate features a flat griddle
side and a half-grate, half-griddle side. The griddle grate is
designed to replace existing grates in all St ō k Quattro grill
models and can be laid atop the existing grates of most other
grills.
Follow all instructions in your grill Operator’s Manual as well
as the instructions provided on this sheet when using the
griddle grate.
INSTALLING THE GRIDDLE GRATE
See Figures 1 - 2.
WARNING:
Use caution when placing or removing the griddle from the
grill to prevent serious personal injury.
 When using a natural or propane gas grill, turn off the
burners, following manufacturer’s instructions, and wait
for flames to go out before installation.
 When using a charcoal grill, allow charcoal to cool and wait
for flames to go out before installation.
 Do not remove the existing cast iron grate and insert unless
the grill is completely cool.
 For St ō k Quattro grills only, remove the existing grate from
your grill’s firebox.
 Before placing the griddle grate onto the firebox, select the
combination side or the griddle only side.
WARNING:
After placing the griddle grate onto the grill, do
not remove it or change to the other side until it is
completely cool. Failure to heed this warning may result
in serious personal injury.
 For St ō k Quattro grills only, set griddle grate into the grill’s
firebox. For all other charcoal or gas grills set griddle grate
onto existing grate.
 Ignite the burners or charcoal and use the grill according
to the manufacturer’s instructions.
 Allow the griddle grate to cool completely before removing
it from the grill.
CLEANING THE GRIDDLE GRATE
 Allow the griddle grate to cool completely.
 Clean before and after each use with a stiff wire brush.
 When not in use, store the grilling grate in your grill where
it will not be exposed to the elements.
