Serial Port Set-Up
The following steps show how to view and change the InfoStation serial port option.
NOTE: Press CANCEL at anytime to exit the menu system and return to the Default Display.
The menu system will automatically cancel after 15 seconds of User inactivity.
NOTE: Factory default is set to S.Port0.
S.Port0 = External Monitoring
S.Port1 = RAID Monitoring (use this setting for accessing the RAID Module via
the UIM Serial Port)
1. Press ENTER at the Default Display so that
display = Status.
2. Press DOWN until display = Setup.
3. Press ENTER so that display = Alarm.
4. Press DOWN until display = Ser.Port
5. Press ENTER so that display = S-Port0
(or S-Port1).
This is the current serial port set-up.
6. Press UP or DOWN to change the serial port
option.
7. Press ENTER to accept the change.
