INTRODUCTION The TwinBox 230 allows you to receive and record DVB-T (FREEVIEW™) digital channels. DVB-T (FREEVIEW™) channel recordings (live or scheduled) are stored on the USB storage device (hard drive or USB key). The "TwinBox 230" also works as a multimedia player allowing you to view photos and videos on a High Definition TV or to listen to music. FUNCTIONS - Aerial connection: View the DVB-T (FREEVIEW™) channels.. - USB device (external hard drive or USB key): Record DVB-T (FREEVIEW™) programmes.
DESCRIPTION OF REMOTE CONTROL 1 2 Remote control 1: Outlines the numeric label of the remote control keys. Remote control 2: Outlines the actual label of the remote control keys.

BEFORE STARTING FRONT VIEW 1. INFRARED RECEIVER: Remote control sensor. 2. POWER: Puts the TwinBox 230 into standby mode (standby/on/off). 4. USB HOST: Input for USB devices (USB keys, external hard drives ...). BACK VIEW 1. ANTENNA IN: Connect an antenna/aerial cable to the TwinBox 230. ANTENNA OUT: Connect an antenna/aerial cable from the TwinBox 230 to the TV. 2. HDMI: Connect the HDMI cable to your TV. 3. AV OUT: Connection for the AV cable (from the TwinBox 230 to your TV). 4.

Connect your TwinBox 230 to the wall antenna outlet to enjoy the DVB-T (FREEVIEW™) channels. 2. Connect TwinBox 230 to the TV using the HDMI or AV cable (depending on your configuration). 3. Connect the power cord into your wall power outlet.
INSTALL THE DVB-T (FREEVIEW™) CHANNELS 1. Press "HOME" on the remote control and select "Setup" by using the directional keys and then press "ENTER". 2. Select "Auto Scan" and then press ENTER.
1. Select the option "Search" and then press ENTER. 2. This screen should appear. 3. Once the channels scan is complete, press ENTER.
VIEWING AND RECORDING DVB-T (FREEVIEW™) CHANNELS VIEWING DVB-T (FREEVIEW™) CHANNELS 1. Once the TwinBox 230 is on, it automatically starts the DVB-T (FREEVIEW™) channels. Use / to change channels. Press "INFO" to display the signal strength. Press "SUBTITLE" to change the subtitles. Press "EPG" to display the Electronic Program Guide. LIVE RECORDING To be able to record DVB-T (FREEVIEW™) channels, you have to previously connect a USB device to the TwinBox 230. 1.
2. Press " " on your remote control to start recording. 3. Press " " and the press "YES" to stop recording the current program. Note: Recordings are stored directly in one of the connected peripheral devices (USB key or external hard drive) in the "ALIDVRS2" folder in the root directory of the device, then in the folder attributed to the recording. You can also record one channel and watch another simultaneously by simply selecting a different channel once recording has begun.
SCHEDULED RECORDING To schedule a recording, you must first press "TIMER" on the remote control. The scheduled recording screen will appear. 1. Press the "OK" key on your remote control to enter the screen below. 1.1.Select the recording repeat frequency (once, daily, weekly, open days) 1.2.Select the visualization mode. CHANNEL to view the channel and the RECORD to record the channel. 1.3.Select the recording source. 1.4.Select the recording date. 1.5.Select the start time of the recording. 1.6.
2. Select “SAVE” and then press “ENTER” to confirm the list of scheduled recordings. NOTE : You can record one channel and watch another at the same time by simply selecting a different channel. TIMESHIFT 1. Press the " " key and then the “PAUSE” key to activate the TIMESHIFT function. 2. To resume playback press “PLAY”.
USE OF STORAGE DEVICES The TwinBox 230 is equipped with a “USB HOST” port that allows you to connect a USB key or an external hard drive and view the stored multimedia contents. 1. Press the “MENU” key, then select “Tools” and then press “ENTER”. 2. Select "MediaPlayer" and then press “ENTER”.
3. Select the type of file you wish to view (video, music, photo or recording) by pressing the “SWAP” key. 4. Press the “ENTER” key; select your peripheral device with the help of the / keys of your remote control and then press “ENTER”. 5. Select a file and then press “ENTER” to view it.
SETTING YOUR TWINBOX 230 DISPLAY AND LANGUAGE 1. Turn on your TwinBox 230. 2. After startup, select the “MENU” key and then select the “System Settings” icon to setup your TwinBox 230. 3. Select "TV System" and then select "Video Resolution" to select the display resolution. 4. Select "LANGUAGE" and then select "LANGUAGE” once again to change the language.

CONDITIONS OF YOUR GUARANTEE The guarantee from STOREX is valid for 1 year for the TwinBox 230 device, and 3 months for any accessories (remote control, AV cables, power supply, etc. ...). STOREX guarantees your TwinBox 230 against any manufacturing or assembly faults. This guarantee only applies to the first purchase of the TwinBox 230 by an end user and it is not transferable if the device is resold.
GENERAL - Do not shake the TwinBox 230 as this may lead to damage to the device; - Use only parts and accessories (power supply etc ...) recommended by the manufacturer; - Do not move the device when in operation. SAFETY - To prevent fire or electric shock, do not put the device in the vicinity of any objects containing liquids, - If a heavy object or any liquid is dropped onto the device, immediately unplug it and have it checked by qualified personnel before re-use.
TROUBLESHOOTING - Refer all troubleshooting to qualified personnel. Troubleshooting is required when the appliance has been damaged in any way: plug or cord is damaged, liquid spilled onto the product, introduction of small objects in the product, exposure to rain or humidity, malfunction, if the product has been dropped... IMPORTANT NOTE Warning: This product may maintain a still video image or a picture-screen on your television screen indefinitely.
