Product Description:
Storm System Wood Life Extender has been developed to prolong the life of wood and wood products. This clear zinc
naphthenate is designed to retard warping, swelling, shrinking and checking of previously unfinished woods. This
product repels moisture and resists the growth of mildew and other fungus on the cured surface. Wood surfaces
protected with this product will be affected by UV light unless topcoated with pigmented paints or stain systems. This
product can be recoated after 24 hours dry with either latex or stain systems.
Precautions:
Remove all mildew before application with Storm System Mold and Mildew Stain Remover. Do not use over previously
sealed, painted or varnished surfaces. Do not apply over bark. Do not apply on surfaces directly in contact with soil or
water. Do all sanding, drilling and cutting before application. All previous finishes must be removed and surface
neutralized before use. Not for interior use.

NOTE: Most woods only require one coat, but soft porous woods can be recoated if necessary in two hours. Extra
wood extender that does not penetrate should be wiped off with a clean cloth.
Dipping - Best method of application Immerse wood for three minutes in Storm System Wood Life Extender No. 11024
Application:
Storm System Wood Life Extender No. 11024 should be applied liberally by brush, roller or spray or by dipping in a
container. The more wood stabilizer absorbed, the more effective the protection. Do not thin. Material is supplied at
proper application consistency. Wood immersion should be for three minutes if dipped. A single coat is recommended
for surfaces to be painted or stained. On porous or rough wood that will remain clear, a second coat is recommended
within the hour. EXCESS MATERIAL NOT ABSORBED SHOULD BE WIPED OFF WITH A DAMP RAG WITHIN
MINUTES. Clean equipment, preferably with mineral spirits, immediately after completion of job for fast cleanup.

Safety Information:
CAUTION! COMBUSTIBLE! Use only with adequate ventilation. Keep out of reach of children. Do not take
internally. Close container after each use.
