Product Description:
This product decorates and protects exterior wood from weather and temperature changes. This product can be used
on new wood, previously stained wood and new pressure treaded wood with proper preparation. Apply one coat over
previously stain surfaces but two coats will provide maximum protection on new or unfinished wood.
Precautions:
DO NOT use over previously painted, solid stained or varnished surfaces. Temperatures of both air and surface should
be at least 50°F (10°C) during application and drying time. Do not apply in hot sunlight or if wet weather is expected
within 48 hours. Surfaces are slippery when wet. Use caution when walking on wet surfaces during application.

Note: New pressure treated wood must be thoroughly cleaned with Storm System All Surface Cleaner, rinsed clean
and allowed to dry completely before finishing. Do not use interchangeably on the same substrate with other Storm
System products as you may note differences in appearance. Appearance varies with different species of wood.
Samples should be tested on the actual wood being used to insure an acceptable appearance.
Application:
WARNING! If you scrape, sand or remove old paint from any surface, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC.
EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN
CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH-approved respirator to
control lead exposure. Carefully clean up with a wet mop or HEPA vacuum. Before you start, find out how to protect
yourself and your family by contacting the U.S. EPA/Lead Information Hotline at 1-800-424-LEAD (5323) or log on to
www.epa.gov/lead.
This product is of proper consistency as packaged is to be applied without thinning under normal environmental
application conditions.
Surface Preparation:
Surfaces must be thoroughly dry to allow penetration. Surfaces must be clean and free from all other coatings that
may prevent penetration. Always test a small area before application to the entire surface. All mildewed areas should
be cleaned with Storm System All Surface Mold & Mildew Stain Remover. New pressure treated wood should be
scrubbed with Storm System All Surface Cleaner to remove all surface deposits. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry.
Application:
Stir thoroughly. The clear base can be tinted up to 8 oz. per gallon with Universal Colorants. This product can be
applied by synthetic brush, roller or spray. Clean brushes and equipment with soap and water and remove spatters
immediately after completion of job. NOTE: for decks, use Storm System CATEGORY 1 100% Acrylic Top Coat
#11550 for longer life and greater durability.

Safety Information:
Avoid contact with skin. Use only with adequate ventilation. Keep out of reach of children. Protect from freezing. Do not
take internally. Close container after each use.
First Aid: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately.
