1. General
1.1 To make the installation of the appliance easier it is best
to remove the internal components before fitting into the
builders opening/studwork.

1.2 For the best results removing the following components as
set out below.
2. Removal of the Log Guard
2.1 To remove the Log guard:
— Lift Log Guard clear of the supporting brackets.
— Rotate to clear the sides of the door opening.
Do not use appliance without the log guard in position.

No tools are required.
3.1 Tomaintainefcientcombustiontheapplianceisttedwitha
metalbafeplateatthetopoftherebox,seeDiagram2.

3.2 First remove the Log Guard from the appliance to give
accesstotherebox.

 Thebaferestsontwosupportingpinswhicharettedwith
two removable supporting tubes.
3a.1 Slide the tubes off the pins to provide additional
manoeuvrabilitytothebafe.

3a.2 Oncethetubesareremoved,liftthebafeslightlysoitis
free from the supports.
3a.3 Movethebafeforwardsandlowerthroughtherebox.
3a.4 Remove through the door opening.
