5.2 If the appliance has been previously used rake any ash
remaining from the previous burn level in the firebox.
Approximately 25mm of ash can be left for a good base for
starting the new fire. Take care as hot embers can remain in
the fuel bed for a long time after the stove was last used.

4.5 If the Smoke Control setting is enabled, the air control slider
must be set to the following:

4.6 If the Smoke Control kit is enabled the air control slider will be
pulled out 47mm, see Diagram 11.

4.7 To meet the requirements of a Smoke Control Area the
appliance MUST be operated correctly in order to minimise
the amount of smoke produced.
If this appliance is installed outside of a Smoke
Control Area then the Smoke Control setting can be
disabled to give more control over the lower burn
rates.
Any modifications should only be done by a
suitably qualified installer and must be done at the
time of installation.
These instructions must be left with the User.
