Material Safety Data Sheet STP® Gas Treatment 3 HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION Principal Hazards Warning • Accidental ingestion of a small amount of this material may cause gastrointestinal disturbances including irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. A very large ingestion could result in fatigue, dizziness, coma, respiratory arrest and death. Chemical pneumonitis or noncardiogenic pulmonary edema can also develop.

Treatment of overexposure should be directed at the control of symptoms and the clinical conditions. Aspiration of this product during induced emesis may result in severe lung injury. If evacuation of the stomach is necessary, use method least likely to cause aspiration, such as gastric lavage after endotracheal intubation.
