DESCRIPTION Patented PVC tight fibered cotton composite corner bead that is 3” wide, 1-1/2” flanges, .026”
thick and comes in 8’, 9’, 10’ and 12’ lengths. Big-Stick installs fast and clean for outside 90º corners
and is ideal for high traffic areas where bumps and dents are likely to occur. Easier to install than
metal corner bead; Big-Stick resists dents and paint chipping, cuts easily with a utility knife or scissors,
applies with all-purpose joint compound, and will not rust. protective laminated nose, is extremely
strong and bounces back after impact.

permanent foundation using recommended application techniques, we warrant that these products

DIRECTIONS
Measure wall height and subtract 1/2”. Measure and cut Big-Stick using a scissors or utility knife.
With a 4”or 5” taping knife, apply a smooth, liberal coat of all-purpose compound to corner.
Press Big-Stick into the wet compound. Adjust if necessary to create a straight line.
Wipe down tight with taping knife using a little additional pressure on the outer edges of Big-
Stick. Immediately apply a light skim coat of compound over surface. Wipe down tight and
smooth. Let dry completely over several hours or overnight.
With a 6”or 8” taping knife, apply your final coat of compound feathering the compound
beyond previous coat. Let dry completely over several hours or overnight
Sand lightly with 120 grit sandpaper. Big-Stick will not fuzz-up like paper or mesh tapes.
STORAGE Store in dry place protected from moisture.
