To check the effectiveness of the roller scraper:
1. Putȱonȱtheȱcleaningȱgloves.
2. Wetȱaȱclothȱwithȱisopropanol.
3. Useȱtheȱclothȱtoȱwetȱtheȱbottomȱofȱtheȱroller.
4. Turnȱtheȱrollerȱslowlyȱwithȱyourȱhand.ȱAsȱtheȱbladeȱscrapesȱtheȱroller,ȱ
makeȱsureȱtheȱisopropanolȱisȱspreadȱevenlyȱoverȱtheȱentireȱlengthȱofȱ
theȱblade.
5. Inspectȱtheȱroller.ȱIfȱitȱis
ȱnotȱdry,ȱreplaceȱtheȱblade.ȱ(Seeȱ“Replacingȱtheȱ
RollerȱScraper”ȱonȱpage 30.)
6. Beforeȱreturningȱtheȱrollerȱwasteȱcollectorȱtoȱtheȱprintȱblock,ȱmakeȱsureȱ
thatȱtheȱpinsȱareȱclean.ȱ

To re-assemble the components:
1. Returnȱtheȱrollerȱwasteȱcollectorȱtoȱtheȱprintȱblockȱandȱscrewȱonȱtheȱ
coveringȱ(seeȱfigure 6Ȭ32ȱonȱpage 28).
2. Loosenȱtheȱscrewsȱsecuringȱtheȱsuctionȱtube.

3. Lowerȱitȱsoȱthatȱtheȱholeȱinȱthe ȱpanelȱbehindȱtheȱsuctionȱtubeȱisȱvisible,ȱ
andȱtightenȱtheȱscrewsȱtoȱsecureȱtheȱtube.ȱ
4. AttachȱtheȱrightȬUVȬlampȱassemblyȱtoȱtheȱprintȱblockȱandȱreconnectȱ
theȱUVȱpowerȱandȱfanȱcables.
