Changing an
Object’s
Orientation
Thereȱareȱseveralȱmethodsȱforȱchangingȱtheȱorientationȱofȱobjectsȱonȱtheȱ
buildȱtray.
To rotate an object:

SelectȱtheȱobjectȱandȱuseȱtheȱObjectȱmenuȱoptionsȱ(seeȱalsoȱ
“RepositioningȱObjects”ȱonȱpage 32).
To re-align an object’s plane:
1. OnȱtheȱTrayȱSettingsȱorȱModelȱSettingsȱribbon—
a. ClickȱtheȱiconȱinȱtheȱSelectionȱgroup:ȱȱorȱ .
b. Onȱtheȱflyoutȱtoolbar,ȱclickȱtheȱSelectȱPlaneȱicon:
or—
FromȱtheȱToolsȱmenu,ȱselectȱ
Plane Alignment > Select Plane.
2. Clickȱonȱpartȱofȱanȱobjectȱonȱtheȱbuildȱtray.
Theȱselectedȱplaneȱisȱdisplayed.
