OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for selecting the Waypoint
TM
, a truly remarkable portable light.
As with any professional tool, reasonable care and maintenance of this
product will provide years of dependable service. Please read this manual
before using your Waypoint. It includes important safety and operating
instructions and should be saved.
SAFETY
A. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. This manual contains important
safety and operating instructions for your Waypoint.
B. Before using the DC power cord, read all instructions.
C. Don’t abuse the cord. Never carry the light by the cord
or yank it to disconnect the cord from a receptacle.
D. Plug DC cord directly into cigarette lighter or your car’s DC outlet.
E. Do not operate a with damaged cord. Have damaged cords or plugs
replaced immediately.
F. Unplug your Waypoint from DC power cord before attempting any routine
cleaning or maintenance. Do not try to repair the light or cord yourself.
Take it to a qualified service facility or return it to the factory.
Operating the Light:
The Waypoint can be operated using 4 “C” sized batteries or directly from a
12V DC cigarette lighter port using the adapter. The trigger switch is located
on the pistol grip of the light. Depress the button once to turn the light on
or off. The mode switch is located on the side of the light. Rotate the mode
switch to select high, low, or strobe.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Loosen the thumbscrew on the back of the Waypoint.
Remove the expired batteries and replace with fresh “C” cell alkaline
batteries following the polarity indicators located in the battery
compartment. Close the back of the light and tighten the thumbscrew.
WARNING: Be sure to use only genuine Streamlight
®
replacement parts.
Important: To assure product safety and reliability, repairs other than
battery replacement should be performed at the Streamlight factory.
Always use Streamlight approved replacement parts.
Streamlight Limited Lifetime Warranty:
Streamlight warrants this product to be free of defect for a lifetime of use.
We will repair, replace or refund the purchase price, at our option, of any
Streamlight product that does not work or that you manage to break for as
long as you own it. Of course, this limited lifetime warranty excludes abuse,
and batteries. Please return your Streamlight to our factory to take advantage
of this guarantee.

SEGURIDAD

ni dé un tirón para desenchufar el cable de un receptáculo.
D. Enchufe el cable CC directamente en la toma del encendedor de
cigarrillos o de CC de su vehículo.

de inmediato los enchufes o cables estropeados.
F. Desenchufe su Waypoint del cable de alimentación de CC antes de

de reparar la linterna o el cable usted mismo. Llévelos a un centro de
servicio cualificado o devuélvalos a fábrica.
Funcionamiento de la linterna:
La Waypoint puede ponerse en marcha con 4 pilas de tamaño “C” o directa-
mente desde el puerto de un encendedor de cigarrillos de 12 V de CA con
un adaptador. El interruptor disparador está situado en la empuñadura de
pistola de la linterna. Pulse el botón una vez para encender o apagar la luz.
El interruptor de modo está situado en el lateral de la linterna. Gire el inter-
ruptor de modo para seleccionar los modos alto, bajo y estroboscopio.
SUSTITUCIÓN DE LAS PILAS
Afloje el tornillo de mariposa situado en la parte posterior de la Waypoint.
Extraiga las pilas gastadas y sustitúyalas por pilas alcalinas de célula
tipo “C” nuevas siguiendo los indicadores de polaridad situados en el
compartimento de las pilas. Cierre la parte posterior de la linterna y apriete
el tornillo de mariposa.
ADVERTENCIA: Asegúrese de utiliza piezas de repuesto originales de
Streamlight
®
. Importante: Para garantizar la seguridad y fiabilidad del
producto, las reparaciones, salvo la sustitución de las pilas, deberán ser
realizadas en la fábrica de Streamlight. Utilice siempre piezas de repuesto
aprobadas por Streamlight.
