Plug in the range hood to the electrical outlet. Make sure that all
operations are functioning properly.

Find the optimal height for mounting the range hood. For the best
results, it is recommended to place it between 26 to 30 inches above the
range.
Once the ideal mounting height is determined, create a marking at a
horizontal level. This will be for the bottom of the range hood.
Locate the vertical centerline on the wall in reference to the horizontal
line, marking the position where the range hood will be mounted. This
line will reflect the center point.
