Ensure that the damper is correctly installed. Attach the vent flaps in the
exhaust port on the top of the range hood. Check to make sure that the
flaps can open smoothly and without any obstructions. Please note that
the bumps on the flaps should face upwards and outwards.

Attach a 6-inch round aluminum duct exhaust hose to the round vent
air flap and secure it with two small screws, as well as tape or a hose
clamp with tape.

Connect and route the exhaust pipe to the exterior of the house for
ventilation.
