OWS Field Installation
Mounting a Directional Antenna on a Pole
Parts Required
◗ Pole.
◗ Directional antenna (includes adjustable mounting bracket).
◗ 2 straps, for mounting the antenna to a standard 1 7/8 inch diameter steel pole.
◗ Antenna cable.
Tools Required
◗ Flat blade screwdriver
1. Attach the 2 straps (hose clamps)
to the mounting bracket.
2. Mount the antenna to the pole
with the 2 straps.
Adjust the antenna to the desired
position, then use a flat blade
screwdriver or 5/16 inch nut
driver to tighten both straps to
10–12 lbf.ft (1.38–1.66 kgf.m).
