WORK AREA
Keep work area clean, free of clutter and well lit. Cluttered and dark work areas can cause
accidents.
Keep children and bystanders away while operating a Hose Reel Cart and Hose. Distractions
can cause you to lose control, so visitors should remain at a safe distance from the work area.
Be aware of all power lines, electrical circuits, water pipes and other mechanical hazards in
your work area, particularly those hazards below the work surface hidden from the operators
view that may be unintentionally contacted and may cause personal harm or property damage.
Be alert of your surroundings. Using a Hose Reel Cart and Hose in confined work areas may
put you dangerously close to cutting tools and rotating parts.
PERSONAL SAFETY
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when using a Hose Reel Cart and
Hose. Do not use a Hose Reel Cart and Hose while you are tired or under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating a hose reel may result in serious
personal injury.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing, dangling objects, or jewelry. Keep your hair,
clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught
in moving parts.
HOSE REEL CART USE AND CARE
Do not modify the Hose Reel Cart in any way. Unauthorized modification may impair the
function and/or safety and could affect the life of the equipment. There are specific applications
for which the Hose Reel Cart was designed.
Always check of damaged or worn out parts before using the Hose Reel Cart. Broken
parts will affect operation. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.
Use the Hose Reel Cart on flat and level surfaces. Pulling or pushing a load on a slanted or
uneven surface can result in loss of control.
The Hose Reel Cart is not a toy. Never allow children to play or ride on the Hose Reel Cart.
Store idle Hose Reel Cart. When Hose Reel Cart is not in use, store it in a secure place out of
the reach of children. Inspect it for good working condition prior to storage and before re-use.
Make sure that any hose attached to the cart is emptied of all water prior to storage.
ASSEMBLY
1. (SEE FIGURE 1) Place Frame (A1) into Frame (A2) insert Bolt (6) and place flat washer (12)
onto Bolt. Fasten frame using lock nut (11).
2. (SEE FIGURE 2) Remove and retain lock nut (9) and flat washer (10) from axle (B). Stand
frame assembly (A) upright. Slide each axle (B) through both ends of frame (A).
3. (SEE FIGURE 3) Slide wheels (C) onto ends of each axles (B), with the wheel valve stems
facing outward. Fasten each wheel to axle using flat washers (10) and lock nuts (9). Do not over
tighten.
4. (SEE FIGURE 4) Insert the end of crank handle (E) through crank hub of frame (A).
