Intended Use The Strongway 1000-Lb. Drum Truck securely attaches and easily transports drums. It converts from a vertical to a horizontal position. The cradle has two 10" x 2" rubber and steel rimmed wheels and two 6" x 2" TPR casters for added stability. The unit is made of heavy-gauge steel construction with a powder-coat finish. Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
Put on the washers (2) and insert the pin (3) to attach the wheels. Step 2 Place the two 6 inch casters (4) on the axle. Put on the washers (5) and insert the pin (6) to attach the casters. Step 3 Tie the strap (7) around the frame.
Operating Instructions 1. Pull the hook (1) and attach it to the drum. 2. Secure the drum with the strap (2) so it will not fall off when the cradle stops. 3. After laying down the cradle, roll the drum to the best position.
Maintenance Maintain your cradle. It is recommended that the general condition of the cradle be examined before it is used. Keep the cradle in good repair by adopting a program of conscientious repair and maintenance in accordance with the recommended procedures found in this manual. Keep the cradle clean. A properly maintained cradle will work more effectively. Keep all of the parts dry, clean, and free from oil and grease. Use only soap and a damp cloth to clean the unit.
