Intended Use The Strongway 800-Lb. Combo Drum/Hand Truck is easy to operate with its combination drum and hand truck functions. It’s made of heavy-gauge steel construction with a powder-coat finish. ⚠WARNING WORK AREA SAFETY Inspect the work area before each use. Keep work area clean, dry, free of clutter, and well-lit. Cluttered, wet, or dark work areas can result in injury. Using the dolly in confined work areas may put you dangerously close to other cutting tools and rotating parts. Keep children and bystanders away from the work area while operating the tool. Do not allow children to handle the dolly.
Do not exceed the rated load capacity. Always check for damaged or worn parts before using the dolly. Broken parts will affect the cradle’s operation. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately. Assembly Instructions Step 1 Place the two 10 inch wheels (1) on the axle. Slide on the washers (2) and insert the pins (3) to attach the wheels.
Step 2 Bend the pin (3). Operating Instructions 1. Pull the ring (4) and turn the hook (5) to secure the drum. 2. If you do not need the hook (5), turn it to the side so it’s out of the way. Check the ring pin (7) and insert the hole (6) to attach the hook.
3. You can easily move the hook (5) up or down depending on the position needed. ⑥ ⑦ Maintenance Maintain your dolly. It is recommended that the general condition of the dolly be examined before it is used. Keep the cradle in good repair by adopting a program of conscientious repair and maintenance in accordance with the recommended procedures found in this manual. Keep the dolly clean. A properly maintained cradle will work more effectively.
