The 2 tubes of Part B comes apart. The cam
lock mechanism on the smaller diameter tube
does not fit into the larger diameter tube.
Part A does not fit
snuggly over the
smaller diameter
portion of part B.
Too many long
tapered tubes have
been installed.
Part A contains a
spring inside.
If ceiling height is
less than 103
inches, only two
long tapered tubes
(C) are required for
assembly.
Part A and Part B
should not fit snug.
Part A contains a
spring inside which
keeps tension to the
ceiling. Therefore,
Part B will not fit all
of the way up into
Part A. The pole
was designed like
this and is not
defective.
Cam lock mechanism on smaller diameter tube
is too large to fit inside the larger diameter tube.
Twist the
white
plastic
cam lock
mechanism
until it
reaches the
bottom of
the tube.
With the
cam-lock
mechanism
pointing toward
the floor, insert
the smaller
diamter tube
into the open
end (not the
end with a
white plastic
collar around it)
of the larger
diameter tube.
Push the
smaller
diameter tube
through the
larger
diameter tube
so that it
comes out
the white
collar end.
Refer to step
5 on page 3
of instruction
manual to
adjust height.
