Wood is a natural product containing variations in color, tone and graining. Some variation in color is to be expected in
anaturalwoodoor.Eventhoughtheproductgoesthroughmanyinspectionsbeforeitleavestheplant,itisthecustomer
andinstaller’sresponsibilityfornalinspectionpriortoinstallation.Theinstallermustbeselectiveanddiscardorcutoff
pieceswithdefects,whateverthesourceofthedefectmaybe.Theuseofstain,llerorputtytocorrectdefectsduring
installationisnormalprocedure.TheooringwarrantyDOESNOTcovermaterialswithvisibledefectsoncetheyare
installed.Allclaimsmustbemadebeforeinstallation.Manufacturerisnotresponsibleforshippingorinstallationcosts.
Limited Lifetime Structural Warranty
Themanufacturerwarrantsallrst-qualityengineeredhardwoodoors,intheirmanufacturedcondition,tobefreefrom
defectsinmaterialandworkmanshipincludingmilling,assembly,dimension,andgrading.Themanufactureradditionally
warrantsthattheseengineeredhardwoodoorswillnotdelaminatewhenproperlyinstalledandmaintainedaccordingto
manufacturer’sinstallationandmaintenanceprocedures.
WhattheManufacturerWillDo
Intheeventthatthepliesshoulddelaminateduetogluebondfailure,themanufacturerwill,atouroption,either:
(1)repairthedefectiveplank(s),(2)replacethedefectiveplank(s).Thiswarrantyisalimitedlifetimewarrantyfor
allrst-qualityengineeredproducts.
Limited 25-year Residential Warranty for Finish Wear
Thefactory-appliednishmakeshardwoodoorinstallationfastandeasy.Everyplankisreadytoinstallrightoutofthe
carton.Thereisnoneedforsandingorstaining.WithourUV-curednishyougaintheassuranceofsuperiordurability
andwearresistance.Themanufacturerwillwarrant,undernormalresidentialconditionsanduses,andprovidingthat
themaintenanceguidelinesarestrictlyfollowed,thatthenishwillnotwearthroughorpeeloffofthehardwoodooring
for25years.
WhattheManufacturerWillDo
Intheeventthatthenishwearsthroughorpeelsoffofthehardwoodooring,themanufacturerwill,atouroption,
either:(1)replacetheaffectedplank(s),(2)recoattheaffectedarea.NOTE:Thislimitedwarrantyextendsonlyfor
defectsthatcoveratleast10%ofthesurfaceareaoftheinstalledooring.Glossreduction,scratchesanddentsin
thenisharenotconsideredsurfacewearandarenotcoveredunderthiswarranty.
WhoisCoveredundertheseLimitedWarranties
Theselimitedwarrantiesapplytoyouonlyifyou:(1)aretheoriginalconsumerpurchaserofthishardwoodoor,(2)have
paidinfullforyourhardwoodoor,and(3)havepurchasedthehardwoodoorforyourownpersonalresidentialuseand
notforresale.ThesewarrantiesARENOTtransferableorassignableandtheyDONOTapplytononresidential,rental,
orcommercialpurchases/installations.
Lamaderaesunproductonatural,convariacionesenelcolor,eltonoylasvetas.Seprevénvariacionesenelcoloren
elpisodemaderanatural.Aunqueelproductoestásujetoavariasinspeccionesantesdeabandonarlasinstalaciones,

Sielacabadosedesgastaosedespegadelospisosdemaderadura,elfabricanteoptarápor,anuestradiscreción:
(1)reemplazarlasplanchasdefectuosas,(2)aplicarotracapaeneláreaafectada.NOTA:Estagarantíalimitada
soloseextiendeparalosdefectosquecubrenalmenosel10%deláreadelasuperciedelospisosinstalados.
Lareduccióndelbrillo,losrayonesylashendidurasenelacabadonoseconsiderandesgastedelasupercieyno

seamswheninstallingoverawoodsuboor.Useofatwo-in-oneunderlaymentwithattachedpolyethylenelmisacceptable
substitute.
SuboorPreparation:Theunderoororsuboormustbethoroughlyeven,dry,cleanandsolid.Carpetstaplesorglue
residuemustberemovedandoormustbecleantoensureproperinstallation.
Tocheckforevenness,hammeranailintothecenteroftheoor.Tieastringtothenailandpushtheknotagainsttheoor.
Pullthestringtighttothefarthestcorneroftheroomandexaminetheoorateyelevelforanygapsbetweenthestringand
oor.Movethestringaroundtheperimeteroftheroom,notinganygapslargerthan3/16in.Anyunevennessgreaterthan
3/16in.per10feetmustbesandeddownorlledinwithanappropriateller.
Floorsmustbecarefullycheckedformoistureproblems.Anymoistureproblemsneedtobesolvedbeforeinstallation.
Newconcreteneedstocureforatleast60daysbeforeinstallation.
• Testwoodsuboorsandwoodooringformoisturecontentusingapin-typemoisturemeter.Takereadingsofthesuboor–
minimumof20readingsper1,000sq.ft.andaveragetheresults.Inmostregions,a“dry”suboorthatisreadytoworkon
hasamoisturecontentof12%orlessandthewoodshouldbewithin4%ofthesuboormoisturecontent.
• Themoisturecontentforconcretesuboorsregisteredafteracalciumchloridetestshouldnotbegreaterthan3pounds
per1,000squarefeetofarea.Ifitexceedstheselimits,DONOTinstalltheooring.
Antesdeempezarainstalarelproducto,revisetodaslasplanchas.Sialgunaplanchaestádañada,nolainstale.
