SC313T Wireless Doorbell Transmitter
Battery Installation
1. Push button unit is operated by 1 x 12volt battery (included)
2. Remove the back of case by pushing in the tab on the bottom with a small, flat screwdriver.
3. Insert 1 x 12volt battery (included) in the battery compartment, ensuring the battery polarity match the
internal markings.
4. Snap the front cover of push button back on, then it is ready to use.
Installation Guide
Using the two holes of the back of push button as a template, mark the fixing position for the unit.
Drill holes, fit wall plug and secure the Bell Push Unit with screws (self-tapping 3 x 16mm screw) in
position, alternatively use the double-sided self-adhesive pad (included), by placing onto your front door or
the position nearby. Please note that the latter is not the most theft resistant option.
Important: Mounting the Push Button unit on the UPVC doorframes or metal surface will reduce the
broadcasting range seriously.
Melody Selection
The melody selector is located inside the push button unit, a small switch on the top left corner of battery
compartment marked with ā€œSā€. Press the switch once, the door chime unit will play the melody next one in
sequence, press it again to select the next one on the list. When you hear the melody you wish to choose, do
not press the melody selector again. The door chime unit will play the selected melody each time the Push
Button is pressed. At any time you can select another melody by repeating the melody selector switch
process.
There are 8 available melodies:
1. Westminster Chime 5. Banjo on my knee
2. Ding-Dong Repeat 6. Twinkle - Twinkle
3. Telephone Ring 7. Itā€™s a small world
4. Circus Theme 8. Dog Barking
Channel Selection
The unit comes from the factory on a pre-set radio frequency channel. However, should your door chime
activate intermittently for no reason at all, it is possible that a similar unit is operating nearby on the same
transmission channel. The encoded frequency of the transmitter (Push Button) and receiver (Door Chime)
can be changed to avoid this problem.
1. Remove the back of case of Bell Push and battery compartment door of Door Chime units.
2. There is 4 black links in a row, in position 1, 2, 3 & 4, which can be altered to achieve total sixteen
(16) possible channels.
3. Add and remove one or more the black link(s), in any combination ensuring it is set to the same code
on both Push Button and Door Chime units.
4. Test to ensure correct operation before final installation.
