Plumbing Requirements
ICE MAKER DRAIN
Ice maker models can be ordered with or without a drain
pump. Models without a pump will drain water by gravity.
A drain must be installed.
The drain and inlet water tubes must be plumbed before
connecting to the ice maker. For the gravity drain, horizon-
tal drain lines must have a ⁄"
(6) per 12" (305) fall. An air gap
will likely be required between the unit and drain. A stand
pipe with a trap below is acceptable for the drain.
Undercounter Ice Maker
Custom Panel
For the indoor model, a custom door panel and handle
hardware must be provided. Refer to the charts below for
panel requirements and dimensions.
The panel cannot exceed the maximum panel weight
indicated in the chart below. The depth of each model
is 23"
(584). Allow for panel thickness when planning the
finished opening depth.
CAUTION
As reveals between cabinetry and the unit decrease,
severe finger pinching can occur while the door is
closing.
Finish all sides of the custom panel. They may be visible
when the door is open. A D-style handle is recommended.
Locate the door handle near the edge of the panel oppo-
site the hinge and centered top to bottom.
