SPARK PLUG CAP

• Check continuity with a circuit tester.

• Spark plug cap has no resistor.

• If there is no continuity, replace the spark plug cap.

Sparking performance

: Over 6.0 mm (0.236 in.)

Electrode gap

: 0.7 to 0.8 mm (0.028 - 0.031 in.)

• Check the sparking performance with an ignition checker.

To spark plug or Engine body earth

• Start cranking in the same way as starting the engine and

inspect whether spark is greater than the rated value.

In case of no spark or sparking performance a is less than

6 mm (0.236 in.)

• Clean the spark plug.

• Adjust the electrode gap.

• Replace the spark plug.

• Check the ignition coil
