Replace the burners and reflector bowls as follows:

as level as possible with the terminal just positioned into the receptacle, then push the
surface unit’s terminal into the receptacle.
2. When the terminal is pushed into the receptacle as far as it will go, push down the edge of
the surface unit opposite the receptacle.
NOTE: Do not immerse burners in water or any other liquids.
Cleaning Underneath the Cooktop
Disconnect the A/C from the main power box or designated circuit breaker and turn off the
cooktop to make sure that burners are off and cool before cleaning any part of cooktop.
Clean the area under the cooktop often. Built-up
soil, especially grease, may catch on fire. To
make cleaning easier, the entire cooktop can be
lifted. Be sure all surface units are turned off and
cool before raising the cooktop.
Raise the cooktop as follows:
1. Remove one of the front surface units and
reflector bowls and use the opening to grasp
the cooktop.
2. Lift the cooktop.
3. Raise the two support rods into place and
hook it onto the front lip of the cooktop to hold
it in place when cleaning.
Clean the area under the cooktop with mild detergent and warm water. Wring excess water out
of the sponge or cloth when cleaning. To remove the burnt-on spills, use a cleansing powder.
Lower the cooktop as follows:
1. While holding the cooktop up with one hand, carefully disengage the support rods and return
them to their original location.
2. Gently lower the cooktop and engage it to its original location.
3. Replace any surface units and reflector bowls that you removed.
NOTE: Do not immerse burners in water or any other liquids.
