Food Storage Information Fresh food When storing fresh food that is not prepackaged, be sure to wrap or store it in airtight and moisture-proof material unless otherwise noted. This will ensure proper shelf life and prevent the transfer of odors and tastes. Wipe containers before storing to avoid needless messes. Eggs should be stored in an upright position in their original carton or in the supplied egg tray to maximize shelf life.
Examples of proper food storage White wine, beer and mineral water Chill before use. Bananas Do not store in refrigerator. Fish or organ meats Store in plastic bags only. Cheese Use airtight containers or plastic bags; for best results, take out of the refrigerator an hour before consumption. Melons Store only for a short period of time, use airtight packaging/wrapping. Raw meat and poultry Do not store unwrapped with delicate items like cooked food and milk.

Water-collecting pan: Make sure that the pan at the back of the appliance is always clean. 1. Gently release the snap of the pan from the compressor by pushing it using a tool (like a screwdriver), so that the pan can be removed. 2. Lift the pan, clean it and wipe it dry. 3. Replacing light bulb: If there is a power failure Try to avoid opening the doors during a power failure. Frozen food in the freezer compartment will not be affected if the power failure lasts shorter than the “Conservation Time from Failure (hours)” mentioned on the rating label. If the power failure lasts longer than this amount of time, then the food should be checked and either consumed immediately or cooked and then re-frozen.
