INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE These instructions describe the appliance and the correct and safe way to use it. The instructions were prepared for various types/models of freezers, therefore you may find in it descriptions of some accessories and functions that your appliance does not have. Tips for Saving Energy Try not to open the door too often, especially when the weather is hot and humid. Once you open the door, try to close it as soon as possible.
When the knob is at the STOP (0) position, the appliance does not operate (the cooling system is switched off). However, the power supply is not interrupted. The temperature in the freezer also depends on how often you open and close the door. Storing Fresh Foods Foods to be stored in the freezer should be properly packed in plastic bags or wrap, aluminum foil or covered containers to prevent mixing odors and various degrees of moisture. Never store any inflammable, volatile or explosive substances.
Shelves If you want to remove a shelf, lift up the rear edge slightly and pull it out. Easily perishable foods should be stored at the back of the shelf, which is the coldest part. Lock (optional) The side mounted lock with a spring can be locked or unlocked by slightly pressing and turning the key at the same time.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Manual Defrosting of the All-Freezer When the frost and ice layer in the freezer is 1/8” thick you should defrost and clean the freezer. First turn the thermostat knob to the STOP (0) position and disconnect the power supply. Empty the freezer and make sure the packages remain frozen. Place a suitable container under the freezer to collect the defrost water. Leave the freezer door open to accelerate defrosting.
