5. To start, position the unit on the area to be polished,
grip the tool rmly and press the ON/OFF button once to
turn ON. To stop, press the ON/OFF button (Fig. 3).
mWARNING! The unit takes some time to come to
a complete stop. Allow the Buer + Polisher to come to a
complete stop before putting it down.
6. Maintain LIGHT contact between the Terrycloth Bung
Bonnet and the polishing surface.
mWARNING! Only place the unit at against the surface,
never on an angle. Failure to do so may cause damage to the
Terrycloth Bung Bonnet, the Fleece Polishing Bonnet,
the polishing pad, and the polishing surface.
7. Apply the wax with the polisher. Use broad,
sweeping strokes in a criss cross pattern. Apply the wax
evenly all over the polishing surface (Fig. 4).
8. Add additional wax to the terrycloth bonnet as needed.
Avoid using too much wax. When dispensing additional
wax, dispense smaller amounts at a time.
NOTE: Applying too much wax is a common error. If the
Terrycloth Bung Bonnet becomes saturated with wax,
applying wax will be harder and will take longer.
Applying too much wax may also reduce the life of the
Terrycloth Bung Bonnet. If the Terrycloth Bung Bonnet
continually comes o the polishing pad during use, too
much wax may have been applied.
9. After the wax has been applied to the work surface,
turn o the Buer + Polisher and unplug the power cord
from the extension cord.
10. Remove the Terrycloth Bung Bonnet and by hand use
the bung bonnet to apply wax to any hard to reach
areas such as around lights, under bumpers, around door
handles, etc.
11. Allow enough time for the wax to dry.
Removing Wax and Polishing
1. Secure the clean Fleece Polishing Bonnet on the polishing
pad (Fig. 5).
mCAUTION! Start and stop the Buer + Polisher only
when it is held rmly against the vehicle surface. Failure to do
so could cause the bonnet to y o of the polishing pad.
2. Turn the Buer + Polisher on and begin to bu o the
dried wax.
3. Stop and turn o the Buer + Polisher when enough wax
has been removed. Unplug the polisher once the unit has
been turned o.
mWARNING! Allow the Buer + Polisher to come to a
complete stop before putting it down.
4. Remove the Fleece Polishing Bonnet from the polishing
pad. Using the Fleece Polishing Bonnet, remove the wax
from all the hard to reach areas of the vehicle.
