Operation
Starting the Machine
1. Insert the battery in its housing (Fig. 13).
2. Take o the cutting bar sheath.
3. Make sure the guide bar is not touching the ground or
any other object.
4. Disengage the chain brake by pulling the front hand
guard towards the front hand grip (Fig. 14).
5. Hold the chain saw rmly with both hands.
6. Press the safety lock button, then pull the trigger switch
(Fig. 14).
NOTE: You can now take your thumb o the safety lock
button and just hold down the trigger switch and saw
will run.
NOTE: When you release the trigger switch, the safety lock
button is also released and the engine stops.
Stopping the Machine
1. Release the trigger switch (Fig. 14).
2. Lift the push lock button and pull out the battery (Fig. 9).

1. Do not use the machine without reading the instructions
carefully. Become acquainted with the controls and
the proper use of the machine. Learn how to stop the
machine quickly.
2. Keep in mind that the operator or user is responsible for
accidents or hazards occurring to other people or their

3. Always wear suitable clothing when using the machine.
Wear anti-vibration gloves and other personal protective
equipment.
All the above-mentioned precautions do not, however,
guarantee the prevention of certain risks – i.e. Raynaud’s
phenomenon or Carpal tunnel syndrome. For operators
who use this machine for prolonged periods, it is
therefore recommended to have periodic checkups on
their hands and ngers. If any of the above mentioned
symptoms should appear, please contact a physician
immediately.
4. Work only in daylight or good articial light.
5. Take utmost care when working near metal fences.
6. Take care not to hit the bar hard against foreign objects or
ying debris caused by the movement of the chain.
7. Stop the motor and remove the battery from its
compartment:
whenever you leave the machine unattended;
before cleaning, checking or servicing the machine;
after striking a foreign object. Inspect the machine for
any damage and make repairs before restarting it
again;
if the machine begins to vibrate abnormally,
immediately look for the cause of the vibrations
and have the machine inspected at an authorized

when the machine is not in use.
IMPORTANT! Always remember that an incorrectly used chain

A certain amount of chain lubricating oil is released into
the environment when the machine is running, so only use
biodegradable oils made specically for this use.
