Maintaining the Sun Fire X4200
Server
This chapter contains information and procedures for servicing the Sun Fire X4200
server hardware, including component removal and replacement procedures.
4.1 Tools and Supplies Needed
The Sun Fire X4200 server can be serviced with the following items:
■ No. 2 Phillips screwdriver
■ Antistatic wrist strap
■ Ballpoint pen or other stylus (to press the recessed Power button)
■ 8-mm nut-driver (for motherboard replacement)
■ Long-nosed pliers (optional for Graphics Redirect and Service Processor (GRASP)
