Sunbeam’s Safety Precautions • Ensure fingers are kept well away from the blades when in use. • Take care when removing the bottle from the base, emptying the bottle or during fitting and removal of blade system, as blades are extremely sharp. • Do not blend warm/hot ingredients. Always cool ingredients to room temperature before processing. • Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use. • Always operate on a flat surface.
Features of your GoBlend Personal Blender Removable Spill-proof lid The extra wide drinking spout is perfect for enjoying your drink. The carry handle makes carrying easy, or can be tied onto your sports bag. 600ml Bottle Blend directly into the 600ml BPA free dishwasher safe drinking bottle. Sharpened blade assembly Pulverize ice and frozen fruit with the stainless steel blade assembly. Motor base The base houses a 300 watt motor.
Using your GoBlend 1. Place your recipe ingredients inside the bottle. Note: Do not exceed the maximum indicated level - 600ml. 2. Tightly screw the blade system onto the bottle, with the blades pointing down into the bottle. See figure 1. 4. Place the bottle into the motor base by aligning the graphic arrows. Blending will start with one simple touch when you press down onto the bottle. To lock the bottle in the base for hands-free operation, simply turn the sport bottle clockwise in the base.
Blending Tips 1. For optimal performance, place desired ingredients in the bottle in the following order: liquids, fresh ingredients, frozen fruit, yoghurt and ice cream. 2. Cut all firm fruits & vegetables into pieces not larger than 1.8cm x 2.5cm. 3. Do not overload the bottle. If the motor stalls, turn the blender off immediately, unplug the unit and let it cool for at least 15 mins. Then, remove a portion of the food and continue. 4.
Care and Cleaning Quick cleaning method Half fill the blender with warm water and a small amount of detergent. Press & hold bottle down for one touch blending. Then remove the bottle and rinse it under running water Caution: Take care when cleaning the blades, as they are extremely sharp. Bottle and drinking lids can be placed in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. To clean the motor base Use a damp, soft sponge with mild detergent and wipe over the motor base. Note: Never immerse the motor base in water.
Recipes Watermelon Refresher Morning Mango Mover 1 ½ cups fresh watermelon, cubed 2 cups diced mango, fresh or frozen ½ cup fresh strawberries, de-stemmed ½ cup chopped fresh or frozen peaches ½ cup raspberries, frozen ½ cup orange juice 1 small handful fresh mint leaves 1 cup ice cubes 1. Recipes (continued) Strawberry Forever Smoothie Banana Bounce 1 cup strawberries 2 scoops Vanilla protein powder 1 frozen banana, sliced 2 tablespoons rolled oats 1 ½ cups coconut milk 2 bananas 1 teaspoon honey 1 cup unsweetened almond milk 1. Place all ingredients into your GoBlend. Blend until smooth puree. ½ cup cold water 1 teaspoon honey ¼ teaspoon cinnamon Peachy Keen Smoothie 1 cup peaches, pitted, peeled, and sliced (or canned) 4 ice cubes 1. Place all ingredients into your GoBlend.
