Installing the Awning on the
Brackets
Insert the awning into the brackets (see
fig. G).
Use a ladder with a platform for each
person to install the awning.
Make sure that the ladders are
positioned securely. Otherwise injury
may result.
Use only ladders suitable for such
installation work.
NOTE: Slightly loosen the bolts if the
support rail cannot be inserted into the
wall brackets.
Move the awning slightly back and forth
until the support rail slips into the
brackets.
Then immediately insert the nuts at the
front of the brackets and tighten the nuts
with a hexagon wrench (see fig. H).
Make sure that the nuts are positioned
securely.
NOTE: Make sure that the brackets have
a distance of 5 cm from the extended
sliding parts (see fig. B).
Keeping the Fabric Taut
Remove the safety belts from the
awning.
Extend the awning until the folding arms
have been extended to their maximum
position. To do this, hook the crank
handle into the first winding eye and turn
it clockwise (see fig. L).
Then retract the awning slightly so the
fabric is taut. Turn the crank handle
counterclockwise for this.
Adjusting the Tilt Angle
The awning is delivered with an optimally
adjusted tilt angle. The tilt angle of the
awning may be adjusted within a range
of 15° to 40° and the adjustable valance
may be adjusted within a range of 25°
and 70°. (see fig. I)
