wrench. Turn the adjusting screw
clockwise to decrease the tilt angle. Turn
the adjusting screw counterclockwise to
increase the tilt angle. Tighten the safety
nut (see fig. K) when the desired tilt
angle has been reached.
CAREFUL! DANGER OF MATERIAL
DAMAGE! Make sure that another person
supports the front profile while you
adjust the tilt angle. Otherwise the
awning may be damaged.
To adjust the tilt angle of the adjustable
valance you first extend the adjustable
valance. To do this, hook the crank
handle into the second winding eye and
turn it clockwise. Then you should hook
the crank handle into the third winding
eye. Then turn the crank handle until you
have reached the desired tilt angle (see
fig. L).
Make sure that you set the same tilt
angle on both sides of the awning.
NOTE: The front profile must be level
(see fig. M)!
When the folding arms are not at the
same height, you can tighten the top
safety nut again (see fig. N).
NOTE: Another person should support
the folding arm!
Always remove the crank handle after
you have used it, and keep it in a safe
and dry place.
CAREFUL! DANGER OF MATERIAL
DAMAGE! Never close the awning
completely if you have set the maximum
tilt angle. Decrease the tilt angle first
before closing the awning completely.
