No, it is not waterproof, however it is water–resistant. It is able to resist the penetra�on of water to some degree but not en�rely. Do not assemble the gazebo onto soil/sandy earth since water might puddle or pool around the gazebo posts, and stakes do not have enough anchorage in these types of soil. Q3.

Non, il n’est pas imperméable, cependant il est résistant à l’eau. Il est apte à résister à la pénétra�on de l’eau à un certain degré, mais pas complètement.
/ 26 Maintenance • Steel components for this gazebo are treated with rust inhibi�ng paint . However, due to the nature of steel, surface oxida�on (rus�ng) will occur if these protec�ve coa�ngs are scratched. This is not a defect and thus not covered by the warranty. • To minimize this condi�on, it is recommended to use care when assembling and handling the product to prevent scratching the paint.
