HOW SOLAR LIGHTS WORK:
During the day, the solar panel converts solar energy into electricity and stores it in the rechargeable battery. At night, the light turns
on automatically through a light detecting sensor. How long the light illuminates will depend on your geographical location, weather
conditions, and seasonal light availability.
CHOOSING AN IDEAL LOCATION:
Choose an outdoor location with full, direct sunshine where the solar panel can receive at least 6 hours of sunshine each day. Shady
locations will influence the battery’s ability to receive an adequate enough of a charge and shorten the working time of the light when
night fall. The selected location should not be near strong ambient lighting, such as street lights, which may cause the light to turn off
automatically because the light sensor inside will detect the light and will not turn on.
ATTENTION FOR FIRST TIME USE:
If there is a button in the battery box for the item please press it to the ONposition. This will activate the light which will allow it to
turn on and charge. When the ambient environment becomes dark, the solar light will automatically light-up. During the day, the solar
light will turn off and collect energy from the solar panel automatically. If you press the button again, the light will turn off and cease
to charge and discharge in order to preserve the battery.
If the light cannot turn on automatically at night after 24 hours of charging during the day, please check the following:
If there is an on/off switch, make sure it is in the “ON” position.
Check the battery to ensure that they are making contact with the terminals.
Be sure the light is in a sunny location – not in a shady area – and the solar panel faces the sun.
PRECAUTIONS:
The light is designed to work when it becomes dark. If there is not a strong light source nearby, the LED light may be very
dim or not work at all.
Although the battery has been charged by the manufacturer, the battery level will have decreased once it is received due to
being in storage. Please allow the light to charge for 72 hours before the light starts to perform optimally.
The surface of the solar panel must be kept clean. If the light’s solar panel is dusty or dirty, it will influence the efficiency of
the light’s ability to charge.
REPLACE BATTERIES:
If the light stops working after it has been used for a long time (approximately over 18 months), the battery may be is beyond its
working lifespan. You may open the cover of battery to change a new rechargeable battery.
