IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read all instructions before using this product.
Save these instructions for easy reference. When using
electrical appliances, basic precautions shoul
d always be
followed to reduce breakage, risk of fire, electric shock
and injury to persons including the following:
l Do not use air cleaner outdoors.
l Do not use air cleaner too close to the wall, to avoid
the wall getting dirty.
l Never operate air cleaner without the filter properly
installed. Permanent motor damage could result.
l Never use air cleaner unless it is fully assembled.
l Do not use air cleaner where combustible gases or
vapors are present.
l Do not allow foreign objects to enter ventilation or
exhaust opening as this may cause electric shock or
damage to the air cleaner. Do not block air outlets or
intakes.
l The air cleaner has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). To reduce risk of shock, this
plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. DO NOT attempt to defeat this safety feature.
l The Air Cleaner should ONLY be plugged into a 120
Volt AC outlet.
l A loose fit between the plug and the AC outlet
(receptacle) m
ay cause overheating and a distortion of
the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to replace
loose or worn receptacles.
l Unplug from wall outlet before servicing.
OPERATION
Room air is drawn into the Air Cleaner through the Front
Grill and passes through the filter. The filtered air is
released from the top of the unit and is dispersed into the
room. The air cleaner has two operating speed with a
slider switch. Besides, the Ionizer function can obviously
increase the efficiency in attracting dusts, and restrain
the propagating of the bacteria.
FILTER REPLACEMENT
The filter is specially designed for easy replacement to
ensure maximum performance. THE FILTER shall be
replaced every 6 (six) months depending on usage
(The replacement filter item number is AC-3000F). The
efficiency and air volume output will begin to decrease
dramatically when the filter needs to be changed.
The steps of replacing the filter are as below:
1. Turn the Air Cleaner OFF and unplug the unit from the
power outlet.
2. Carefully lay unit down on a flat surface with the Front
Grill facing up.
3. Using finger pressure in the two notches located on top
of the front grill, pull front grill out and away.
4. Remove and discard the old filter.
5.
Remove any protective plastic wrapping and packaging
from the new filter.
6. Set new filter into the air cleaner.
7. Install the Front Grill by placing the top edge of the grill
near the top of the air cleaner, lining up the grill tabs
with the air cleaner slots.
8. Snap Front Grill into place by pushing down carefully
near the bottom edges of the Front Grill.
9. The Air Cleaner is now ready for operation.
