9. Place the adjustable misting outlet back in place, on top of the water tank. Plug the power cord into a 120V
wall socket.
10. Turn the mist dial clockwise to turn on unit. The indicator light will illuminate.
INDICATOR LIGHT STATUS:
GREEN: There is enough water in the base and unit is in operation.
RED: Water tank is empty and needs to be refilled.
NOTE: It may take 15 to 30 seconds for the green indicator light to come on. As the water fills the basin,
that is the amount of time needed for the water sensor to sense the water level.
11. Turn the dial to adjust mist intensity, turn the dial clockwise to increase and counter-clockwise to decrease.
NOTE: When set at the max intensity, it is normal to hear a faint humming sound.
12. When the humidifier runs out of water, the indicator light will turn red and the mist output will stop. This is a
safety feature to prevent the humidifier from possibly overheating. Turn the mist dial counterclockwise to
“OFF”, unplug unit and refill water tank.
NOTE:
If the Red indicator light illuminates after powering on, either the unit is out of water or tank is not
properly aligned.
Once the water tank is in place, do not attempt to move the humidifier. If it has to be moved, unplug the
unit and drain water from the base before moving.
NEVER REMOVE THE WATER TANK WHILE IT IS PLUGGED AND IN USE.
WARNING: When selecting the correct humidity output, make sure that the mist intensity is not set too high,
because the mist may not be fully absorbed by the air and may accumulate on surfaces around the
humidifier. If the humidifier is placed near a fan or air conditioning outlet, the mist may be forced in a
different direction, due to air pressure. Change the location of the humidifier or reduce the output of other
room conditioning appliances.
REFILLING THE WATER TANK
1. Always make sure the unit is unplugged and in the OFF position.
2. Carefully lift the water tank up and hold in upright position (over the base) for about 15 seconds to allow
excess water to drip into the water basin.
3. Turn the water tank upside down, with cap facing towards the ceiling, to refill.
